Romania's CFR Calatori launches direct train rides to Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria
Romanian passenger rail carrier CFR Calatori will provide direct train rides from Bucharest to Thessaloniki (Greece), Istanbul (Turkey) and Sofia (Bulgaria) from June until October this year.
The company will have daily trains to Istanbul, with a one-way trip costing EUR 54 in a four-place sleeping cart.
The trains to Thessaloniki will be weekly and tickets will cost EUR 45 to EUR 62, depending on the selected wagon. Trains to Sofia will be daily and tickets will cost EUR 30.
