Romania will have a network of compressed gas stations by 2020
Romania will have a network of compressed natural gas stations until 2020, based on the Directive 94/2014, according to a press release of the Association of Producers and Users of Compressed Natural Gas, CNG Romania.
Denisson Energy SRL, which coordinates the project and is member of Ramnicu Valcea-based Antares Group, together with the Association of Producers and Users of Compressed Natural Gas, will implement in Romania between 2016 and 2019 a project co-financed by the EU through the CEF – Connecting Europe Facility, reports local Mediafax.
The project, called CNG ROMANIA: Initial Market Deployment of a Refueling Station Network along the Core Network Corridors, has an estimated cost of EUR 5.21 million and benefits from a contribution of up to EUR 4.43 million from the Agency for Innovation and Networks of the European Commission.
The action has two main objectives, namely to implement on the market the first network of stations with compressed natural gas (CNG) and to support the market penetration of compressed natural gas.
