Romanian state – controlled airline Tarom has appointed a new Board of Directors, which includes CEO Christian Heinzmann, communication director with National Company Bucharest Airports Valentin Iordache and Marcel Bolos, former head of AM Post.

In early - March, the entire Tarom board resigned soon after approving the 2015 budget. Gabriel Dumitrascu, Tarom’s then president of the board, also stepped down.

Transport Minister Ioan Rus recently said that Tarom is the only company within the Transport Ministry that has significant problems.

Its 2015 budget features a EUR 2 million loss, down from the EUR 27 million loss in 2014.
