Romanian and foreign jazz artists on stage at Garana Festival this weekend
A new edition of the Garana Jazz Fest brings Romanian and foreign artists to the Garana village, in Caras Severin county in Romania this weekend. The event starts today, July 10, and will end on Sunday, July 13.
The festival will feature several international artists, such as Adam Bałdych Imaginary Quartet (Poland), Andy Sheppard Trio Libero (UK, France), Dave Douglas - The Riverside Quartet (the US), Marius Neset Quartet (Norway), Joey DeFrancesco Trio (the US), Ulf Wakenius Band (Sweden, Denmark), Kimmo Pohjonen (Finland), The Crimson Projekct (the US), Stian Westerhus (Norway) and Tom Harrell Colors of a Dream (the US). Local artists such as JazzyBit and Elena Mindru Finnection (Romania, Finland) will also play at the event.
Tickets cost RON 80 per day (some EUR 18), while a four-day subscription costs RON 300 (EUR 91).
