Romanian authorities issue more permits for residential buildings
Romanian authorities issued over 36,000 building permits for residential buildings in the first eleven months of last year.
The number rose by 3.6% compared to the same period in 2014, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS).
About 3,000 permits were issued in November 2015. Over 55% of them were granted in rural areas.
The number of building permits rose in six of Romania’s regions in the first eleven months of November. Only the Bucharest-Ilfov and the Center regions saw decreases in the number of issued building permits.
