Bacau County Council wants to contract work to modernize the George Enescu International Airport. The investment is estimated at RON 70.8 million (EUR 16 million), VAT included.

The project includes design services, as well as work to be carried out at the passenger terminal, the control tower, the administrative annex and the parking, reports local Mediafax. The estimated value also includes various expenses of RON 2.6 million (EUR 588,000), without VAT.

The contract will have a duration of 21 months from the moment it will be awarded. The builders will be selected via open tender for the lowest price and the offers can be submitted until January 8.
