A Romanian broker made a EUR 100 profit trading EUR/USD while at the 4180m peak of Mont Blanc.

The broker, Vlad Moise, works for XTB Romania and used his company's online platform for this high–altitude forex trading session on Friday, August 30.

He had started the expedition aiming for the tallest peak in the Alps, Mont Blanc, on August 24, supported by the company he works for.

His mountain top trading session is a world premiere, according to XTB.

The junior trader managed to make a profit in about two hours after the trading session started.

X-Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski was created in 2002 in Poland and currently has over 20 subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and South America.

In Romania, the company has been active since 2009. It offers access to forex markets, as well as to commodities and shares markets via several platforms.
