Romanian car dealer and car parts trader ATP Exodus, based in Baia Mare, managed to keep its turnover steady in 2012 despite the weaker car market, by investing around EUR 5 million into expanding its network in Romania and abroad. With a turnover of EUR 71.3 million in 2012, the company aims for an increase of over EUR 10 million this year, according to Mircea Cirț, general manager and owner of ATP Exodus.

Half of its investments last year were directed to opening its first car dealership in Oradea for Mercedez Benz and Mazda. It also invested EUR 1.2 million in Elka Trans Logistik, a company within the group, which owns a 220-car fleet that can be rented out. An extra EUR 1 million was directed into expanding the distribution network for car parts in Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria.

Last year's results, comparable to 2011's, show an increase of 20 percent on 2010. In 2012, ATP Exodus, which focuses on selling car parts, managed to sell 500 cars, and targets 600 car sales this year.

The group, created in 1995, sells car parts and accessories for cars, and is a dealer for Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Mazda and Opel cars. It runs a network of 32 subsidiaries in Romania and 10 abroad, in Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, services by a team of 750 employees.
