Romanian chef and Hospice Casa Sperantei open first charity shop under Bacania Veche brand
Non-governmental charity organization Hospice Casa Sperantei and Bacania Veche, owned by Romanian chef Marius Tudosiei (in picture, middle), will soon officially open the first charity shop in Romania. Bacania Veche - The Charity Shop, in benefit of Hospice Casa Sperantei will be opened on May 24 on Fabrica de Glucoza street in Bucharest.
Part of the money obtained from the sale of grocery products from the charity shop will be used to support the construction of the Hospice center in Bucharest, where children and adults suffering from incurable diseases will receive free medical care, psychological and emotional support, as well as spiritual guidance.
Hospice Casa Sperantei is a non-governmental charity organization that provides palliative care services in Romania for terminally ill persons and promotes the services at a national level through educational programs.
Marius Tudosiei opened the small restaurant and shop Bacania Veche in 2010, after leaving his marketing position in the media. Bacania Veche sells home made products- more about it here.
