Romanian club makes it into DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs in the world
A Romanian club is among the best 100 clubs in the world recently published by the British DJ Mag magazine.
the only Romanian entry in the rankings is not located in capital Bucharest, but in the central region of Transylvania, the city of Cluj - Napoca.
Club Midi has made into the famous top 100 for the second time in a row, and now ranks 54th, down three positions from last year.
“This ex-bakery in the heart of mythological Vampire Country opened its doors as a club in November 2007. But before we start with the cheap jokes about 'the stakes are high' and 'avoiding the sunlight', Club Midi has very little to associate itself with Bram Stoker's enduring tale,” writes the magazine about the Romanian club which can fit 1,200 party people.
The likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Lee Burridge, Nastia, Pan-Pot, Nicole Moudaber, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Nina Kraviz and Tania Vulcano have all played in recent months at this Romanian club.
Number one in the DJ Mag ranking is Space Ibiza, in Ibiza, Spain, which has a capacity of 7,000.
