Romanian companies to increase their investments in software
The private sector can help increase the domestic consumption of software and IT services in Romania, as the companies’ investments in software acquisitions are expected to grow by 10%, by 2018.
The total software and IT service sales in Romania amount to EUR 931 million, which represents 35% of the whole IT sector’s turnover, according to the Employers' Association in the Software and Services Industry (ANIS), reports local Wall-street.ro. The segments which generate most of the software and IT service demand are public administration (30%), industry (17%), and banking (14%).
The services and the consumer product sectors together with the industry post the biggest growth opportunities for the software and IT services in 2015. By 2018, the three sectors will increase their software and IT service purchases by about 10%.
