Romanian company Euro Gas Systems (EGS) will build a gas compressor station for Croatian gas transporter Plinarco.

The two companies signed the contract worth EUR 8.2 million on Friday, August 31, according to local Agerpres. The station will be located in Velika Ludina, about 60 kilometers South-West of the capital Zagreb.

The Romanian company won the contract after an international selection process, in which it came with the most favorable offer.

The station will help secure the gas supply in the country and increase Croatia’s gas interconnection capacity with Hungary.
