Romanian cosmetics producer Farmec Cluj ups turnover 14%
Farmec Cluj, the biggest Romanian cosmetics producer, posted a turnover of EUR 43.8 million last year, up 14% over the previous year.
The company managed to surpass its estimates for last year. In 2017, Farmec plans to increase its business by over 10% by “strengthening existing brands” and launching new products, said Mircea Turdean, Farmec’s general director.
The company’s online sales increased by over 25% compared to the previous year. In 2015, the cosmetics producer had online sales of over EUR 1 million.
Farmec owns the famous Romanian cosmetics brand Gerovital. The company has 11 own stores in Romania and 7 Gerovital stores abroad, in Italy, Spain, Hungary, France, and Greece.
