Romanian cosmetics producer ups sales by 10%
Romania’s largest cosmetics producer Farmec Cluj posted a turnover of EUR 18.7 million in the first half of the year, up 10% year-on-year.
The company increased its online sales and expanded its product portfolio, said Farmec’s general director Mircea Turdean.
Farmec ranks first among face care products in Romania, with a market share of 27%, according to Nielsen studies. The Gerovital brand is the best-selling product in this category, based on sales value.
Farmec is also market leader in the hair treatment segment through the Gerovital brand, holding a 30.8% market share.
