Craft beer market in Romania is in full expansion, with more than 30 producers of craft beer and cider.

The price per bottle can exceed RON 20 (EUR 4.3), according to the specialized store The Beer Institute, which will have its official opening in Bucharest on Wednesday (June 27).

The Beer Institute will sell about 123 types of craft beer and cider produced in Bucharest, Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara. Its owners intend to organize competitions for beer fans, events for presenting new types of beer and meetings of beer producers.

The Beer Institute will also sell craft beer for private and corporate events and will home deliver. It started with around EUR 20,000 investment and plans to reach EUR 50,000 sales in its first year.
