Romanian Dacia launches first Duster with automatic transmission
Local car producer Dacia launched yesterday the new Duster model equipped with EDC automatic transmission, which was taken over from Renault, reports local Ziarul Financiar.
This takes place one year after Dacia equipped the Logan, Logan MCV and Sandero models with semi-automatic transmission.
The new EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic gearbox comes with 6-speed double clutch.
In the Duster range, the new Laureate 4x2 EDC 1.5 dCI 109 CP is available at a price of EUR 16,550. The Duster 4x2 Explorer version equipped with EDC transmission can be ordered at a price of EUR 17,700 (VAT included).
In March, the Renault design center in Bucharest has completed the design of the second generation of the Dacia Duster SUV. Renault will present the new model at the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall.
