Romanian Dacia ups sales and market share in France in 2014
Registrations of Romania’s car brand Dacia in France increased by 12.9% last year, to 105,895 units, while its market share stood at 4.88%, according to data from French Automobile Manufacturers Association (CCFA), cited by local Mediafax.
In 2013, Dacia had a market share of 4.35% in France.
Lancia, Jeep and Lexus were the only brands that registered higher increases than the Romanian brand on the French market, but with much lower sales.
Renault group registered an increase of 5.5% in 2014, to over 577,000 units, while its market share increased from 25.38% in 2013 to 26.64% last year.
Dacia’s registrations in France dropped by 18.8% year-on-year in December 2014, to 8,386 units.
