Romanian Design Week gets ready for anniversary edition
The fifth edition of the Romanian Design Week, an event dedicated to local creative industries, will take place this year between May 20 and May 28.
The event, which targets both professionals and the general public, will cover a central exhibition and a circuit of events and spaces that promote design and related disciplines, such as architecture, urban planning, interior design, graphic design and illustration, clothing design and more.
The design of the central exhibition belongs, as in previous years, to architect Attila Kim. Kim was the commissioner of Romania’s 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale participation and one of the Romanian names on the list of nominees for this year’s EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture.
The program of the event and the venues where it will take place will be updated here.
