Romanian drug maker’s profit rises by over a third
Romanian drug producer Biofarm increased its net profit by 38% in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same period of last year, to EUR 3.06 million.
The company’s sales went up by almost a quarter (24.5%) to EUR 10.3 million.
Three local investment funds, SIF Muntenia, SIF Banat-Crisana and SIF Moldova control over 77% of the company. Biofarm’s shares are trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange where the company currently values EUR 70.4 million.
