Romanian drug producer Biofarm ups sales by 5% in the first six months
Pharmaceutical company Biofarm increased its sales by 5 percent in the first six months of the year compared to the same period in 2013, to RON 61.1 million (EUR 13.6 million), according to the company’s report. Its profit also increased by 9 percent year-on-year, to RON 14.7 million (EUR 3.2 million).
Biofarm is controlled by three Romanian investment funds, SIF Muntenia, SIF Banat-Crisana and SIF Moldova. The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange BVB under the symbol BIO.
