Romanian drug producer Biofarm’s revenues up 11% nine months into 2013
Romanian pharmaceutical producer Biofarm reported sales revenues of EUR 19.4 million (RON 85.5 million) in the first nine months of the year, up 11 percent compared to the same period the previous year, according to the company’s recent data.
Biofram’s profit also increased 7 percent year-on-year, to EUR 4.2 million (RON 18.5 million) between January-September 2013.
Founded in 1921, Biofarm is one of the main Romanian drug producers. The company is traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol BIO.
