Romanian drug producer plans over EUR 12 mln investments
Local drug producer Antibiotice Iasi wants to invest over EUR 12 million in new production units, laboratories as well as licenses for new products this year.
The company will make a new unit that produces ointments and suppositories. It will also make further investments in existing departments, reports local Profit.ro.
The producer will keep the same number of employees, namely some 1,500.
Antibiotice Iasi has targeted total revenues of EUR 78.4 million and an after-tax profit of EUR 6.2 million for this year. The company is controlled by the state and is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
