Romanian economy could go up by 4.2% this year
Romania’s economy could increase by 4.2% this year and 4.3% in 2017, according to the Convergence Program 2016 the country’s Government approved on Wednesday.
The budget deficit could grow to 2.95% of the GDP this year, and could reach 2.9% of the GDP next year.
“We estimate that the budget deficit will not exceed the reference rate of 3% this year and next year,” according to the Convergence Program.
The budget deficit will return to a downward trend in 2018-2019.
