Romanian eMAG wants to launch PC Garage on external markets next year

Romanian online retailer eMAG could conclude the takeover of local IT&C online store PC Garage in two-three months, said Iulian Stanciu, eMAG CEO.

PC Garage could be launched on the external markets next year, and could reach annual sales of hundreds of millions of euro.

PC Garage has excelled in the gaming segment, Stanciu added. PC Garage now has sales of around EUR 40 million.

eMAG plans to launch PC Garage in Bulgaria and Hungary, countries that don’t have websites specialized in gaming.

The largest online retailer in Romania announced the takeover of PC Garage in mid-April this year. eMAG currently has 2,100 employees and could add 300-400 more by the end of this year.
