More than 700 Romanian families with children take their nannies with them on exotic holidays, often splashing out more than EUR 10,000 on such trips, according to tour operator Perfect Tour, quoted by Mediafax.

Some other 1,000 families also take their nannies while holidaying in Europe, which costs them between EUR 3,000 and EUR 5,000.

Usually family members fly business for long journeys, and the nannies fly economy, and they choose large accommodation spaces. Many of the nannies who go on holidays with the families are Asian, either from the Philippines, or Thailand.
