Romanian FAN Courier plans EUR 8 mln investments in 2015
Romanian courier company FAN Courier plans to invest EUR 8 million in 2015, half of the amount to be used for car park expansion and modernization, according to Felix Patrascanu, the company’s general manager.
FAN Courier will also open a transit center in Brasov, in which it will invest EUR 1-1.5 million.
“The remaining investment money will be spent on IT equipment and training for the 3,650 employees, whose number is higher by 650 than at the beginning of the year,” added Patrascanu, cited by local Mediafax.
FAN Courier ended the first 10 months with a turnover of RON 276.3 million (EUR 60.13 million) and expects to reach RON 322.5 million (72.5 million) by the end of this year. This would represent a 16% increase over the previous year, according to the general manager.
