Romanian courier firm Fan Courier’s owners, Romanian entrepreneurs Adrian Mihai, Neculai Mihai and Felix Patrascanu, received the “Entrepreneur of the year” award in the “Business Champions 2014” gala organized by the main financial newspaper in Romania Ziarul Financiar.

Fan Courier received this prize for its results in recent years: it consolidated its position as the largest courier firm on the local market.

The company had a turnover of EUR 63 million, in 2013, 16% bigger than in 2012, and a net profit of EUR 10.2 million, up by 16%. Fan Courier had almost 1,300 employees last year.

The “Business Champions” is a joint projec of Ziarul Financiar and investment fund Enterprise Investor, BCR, PwC and Triple Helix foundation, which aims to discover the most dynamic entrepreneurial companies in Romania.
