Romanian furniture producer Lemet ups turnover in first quarter
Romanian furniture producer Lemet recorded in the first quarter of the year, through its Lem’s network of stores, a turnover of RON 40.18 million (EUR 9 million), up 10 percent year-on-year.
The Easter period and discount campaigns fueled consumption in the first months.
The furniture maker’s factory located in Campina, Romania, was set up in 1991 and currently covers 35,000 sqm. Lemet’s factory produces 360,000 furniture items a year. The company currently has a total of 1,250 employees. Its main competitors are Mobexpert, Elvila, Ikea, Kika, Rovere Mobili.
