The Romanian gaming startup Amber Studio increased its turnover by 136% in 2015 reaching EUR 4 million. The number of the employees also rose by 128% to 168.

In 2014, the company posted a turnover of about USD 2 million (EUR 1.9 million) and had 72 employees.

Amber Studios plans to further expand its team this year by adding 60 more specialists, reports local Dailybusiness.ro.

The studio developed last year projects for platforms such as iOS, Google Play, Android TV, Smart TV, Amazon, and Smartwatch. The company also made some of its turnover working for IT solutions for clients, which included platform conversion, code development, and full-fledged development.

Launched two years ago, Amber Studio has become the biggest independent gaming studio in Romania. Some of the games it developed in 2015 are Cinderella Free Fall, Little Leader, Star Wars Rebels, and The Martian.
