Romanian gas producer Romgaz appointed Sebastian Tcaciuc as interim member of the Board of Directors starting January 23.

The position remained vacant following the departure of Sorana Baciu, who has been appointed State Secretary within the Economy Ministry.

Tcaciuc, who is also a board member of the energy producer Nuclearelectrica, will remain in the board of Romgaz until March 26 this year, when the general meeting of shareholders will take place.

Tcaciuc was investment director of Advent International between 2005 and 2013. He was previously analyst within ING Bank, Alpha Bank, and Delta Lloyd Investment Research. During 2006-2013, he was a board member in the companies CFR SA, Ceramica SA, Deutek SA, Regina Maria, LaborMed Pharma SA, and Roma Plastik AS.
