Romanian Grampet Grup wants EUR 25 mln of new contracts and expansion to Greece, Austria, Turkey

Romanian company Grampet Grup, controlled by Gruia Stoica, hopes to sign EUR 25 million of new contracts with European companies after having participated in the International transport and Logistics Fair in Munich at the beginning of May.

The company plans to expand on the railway transport and logistics markets in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey and Greece. Grampet Grup, which includes private railway company Grup Feroviar Roman, is currently active in Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova, apart from home country Romania.

The Grampet Grup has 14 companies, GFR being the biggest of them. The company has a 27 percent market share on the railway freight market in Romania and hopes to achieve a 33 percent market share this year, according to the company. It posted a turnover of EUR 125 million last year.
