Romanian health services group Polisano to invest EUR 20 mln in four new radiotherapy centers
Romanian health services group Polisano will open four radiation treatment centers for cancer patients in Romania, which will require an investment of some EUR 20 million, the company has announced.
The Polisano European Hospital, located in Sibiu, already has one such center, which has been operational since August. The hospital is a EUR 25 million investment of local pharmaceutical and health services group Polisano.
The hospital will be officially inaugurated at the end of October, at the same time with a EUR 60 million drug factory, Polipharma Industries. The Polisano group, founded by late Romanian doctor Ilie Vonica, has an annual turnover of some EUR 400 million.
