The average monthly income per household amounted to EUR 657.4 in the first quarter of the year whereas the average expenses reached EUR 565.1, namely 86% of the total income, according to the National Institute of Statistics.

The average monthly income per person totaled almost EUR 248.

During this period, the cash revenues reached EUR 556 per household whereas the in-kind income amounted to some EUR 100 per household.

The wages had the biggest contribution to the formation of the monthly income, totaling 55.1% whereas the social security benefits had a share of 22.4%. The income from agriculture reached only 1.9%.
