Romanian housing bank ups loan portfolio
Housing bank BCR Banca pentru Locuinte upped its loans portfolio by 43% in the first nine months of the year, to some EUR 32.5 million, while its deposits were also up 29%, the bank has announced.
The bank counted 357,000 loan contracts based on which clients have saved some EUR 477 million, via the lending – savings scheme.
The bank is part of the BCR group, and its main shareholders are BCR - 80% of the shares, and S Bausparkasse der oesterreichischen Sparkassen, part of Erste group, with the rest of the shares. The bank was launched in 2008.
