The Romanian National Integrity Agency ANI found MPs with side jobs incompatible with their public office, namely 22 deputies and 10 senators, who simultaneously held other positions. Four of them are also suspect of having submitted false wealth statements.  The Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court of Justice has been notified.

According to ANI’s statement, the MPs broke the law on incompatibility while in public office, because they have held, or currently hold, simultaneously, the MP position, as well as other jobs, such as administrator, board member, auditor or individual trader.

Three deputies and one senator are also suspected of false declarations because they didn’t mention in the statements of interest their other jobs.
