Romanian interior decoration chain bam boo expands with EUR 200,000 store
The Romanian interior decorations and gifts retail chain bam boo recently opened its 15th location, on an area of 300 sqm in the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping center in Bucharest.
“The opening of the store in AFI Palace Cotroceni is the first step and a very important one in our expansion plan. Our presence in AFI Palace Cotroceni means for us completing the bam boo network that covers all important commercial centers in Bucharest”, said Regis Mougel, Genereal director of bam boo.
The company entered insolvency last year and started reorganization in order to adapt their business to the current economy. The retail chain has switched to more affordable products, with 75 percent of the products sold at under RON 20 in price.
The bam boo store chain was launched in 2003. In 2010, bam boo posted sales of EUR 8.4 million. The stores sell gifts, household items and decorations.
