Romanian Lemet sells EUR 52 mln worth of furniture in 2013
Romanian furniture producer Lemet recorded last year, through its own network of Lem’s stores, sales of some EUR 52 million, up 10% year-on-year. In 2013, the furniture market stood at around EUR 757 million, a level similar to the one registered the year before.
Over 20% of the sales registered by the Lem’s network were generated by upholstery products.
The furniture maker’s factory located in Campina, Romania, was set up in 1991 and currently covers 35,000 sqm.
The company currently has a total of 1,350 employees. Its main competitors are Mobexpert, Elvila, Ikea and Kika.
