Romanian lender BCR sells 220 kg of gold
Romanian lender Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) sold last year about 220 kg of gold, both through direct sales at bank counters (about 30 kg), and through mass affluent and private banking services (about 190 kg).
BCR has sold so far about 2.5 tonnes of gold to its customers.
The average of the most significant transactions by volume is of over 40 kg of gold per transaction.
The private banking department carried out these sales.
BCR started selling gold at its counters in 2013, without pre-order.
