Romanian man breaches security and tries to enter by car into Government building
A Romanian who in 2010 jumped off a balcony in the Romanian Parliament trying to kill himself in protest yesterday attempted to enter by car in the Victoria Palace, the Government headquarters in Bucharest.
Driving his Dacia car, he managed to break one of the Government’s fences and reached close to the Government’s steps. The man, called Adrian Sobaru, wanted to protest against the state his country is in.
Sobaru was taken by the Police for questioning and detained for 24 hours. Four years ago, when he was an electrician working with the state television TVR, Sobaru jumped off the Parliament balcony inside during the plenary session, protesting against removing ‘children rights’.
