Romanian Metrorex installs 35 new metro card vending machines in Bucharest
Metrorex, the metro network operator in Bucharest, has installed 35 new metro card vending machines, in several subway stations across the city, according to the company. The devices accept payments made with VISA and MasterCard cards, as well as in cash with RON 1, 5, 10, and RON 50 banknotes, but also with coins of 10 and 50 bani, without giving change.
The card vending machines have a touch screen positioned so as to ensure a good visibility, and it’s easy to use, having a menu in Romanian, English and French.
The subway stations where the devices are installed and functional are Parc Bazilescu, Jiului, 1 Mai, Pacii, Gorjului, Dristor 1, Aviatorilor, Universitate, Basarab 2, Grozavesti, Berceni, Aparatorii Patriei, Piata Sudului, Eroii Revolutiei, Piata Unirii 1 si 2, Piata Romana, Aurel Vlaicu, Pipera, Republica, Titan, Nicolae Grigorescu 1, Eroilor, Preciziei, Lujerului, Crangasi, Gara de Nord 1, Piata Victoriei 2, Stefan cel Mare, Obor, Piata Iancului, 1 Decembrie 1918, and Anghel Saligny.
