Romanian Minister “desperately” looking for people to restructure Tarom airline
Romanian state-controlled airline Tarom is the only company within the Transport Ministry that has significant problems, recently said Transport Minister Ioan Rus.
He is ready to “desperately” look for capable people able to implement the airline restructuring plan, reports local Mediafax.
At the beginning of March, the entire Tarom board resigned, soon after approving the 2015 budget.
Rus said that he talked to those who have been proposed as board members and potential board president, but the first three of them turned down the job.
The 2015 Tarom budget features a EUR 2 million loss, down from the EUR 27 million loss in 2014.
