Romanian minister encourages investors to take advantage of “good moment”
Romanian economy minister Costin Borc said on Friday that Romania’s economy is going through a good moment, which is also appreciated in Brussels, and it’s “an extraordinary moment to take economic advantage of these things.”
He spoke at an event organized by the Council of Private Small and Medium Enterprises in Romania.
The minister also said that Romania has a “healthy economic growth” but an “imbalance between imports and exports,” reports local Mediafax. The country needs to see “how to push the exports more”.
Romania’s economy can’t be developed only through foreign investments and multinationals, Borc added. The solution is industrial development on research and innovation centers.
He addressed the business people, telling them to take advantage of this good moment.
“Take advantage of this good economic growth, a positive image of Romania, a very important strategic positioning. Take advantage of this to develop your business.”
