Romanian Ministry of Finance borrows EUR 45 mln from local banks
Romania’s Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) has borrowed EUR 45.2 million from commercial banks on Monday, November 18, at a yield of 4.21%, with a 15-year bond issue.
MFP was going to borrow an additional amount of EUR 6.78 million on Tuesday, at the same yield of 4.21%.
The Ministry of Finance has planned to borrow EUR 823 million from commercial banks in November, of which EUR 745 million through seven auctions of treasury bills and government bonds, and EUR 78 million in additional sessions for uncompetitive bids related to bond auctions.
