The eight edition of Le Paris du Cinema Roumain festival will bring Romanian movies to the Luminor Cinema in the French capital between December 11 and December 15.

Besides movie screenings, the festival’s program also includes debates and meetings with journalists, actors, directors and other specialists in this field. Cinema critic and historian Cristian Tudor Popescu will be among the event’s special guests.

A total of seven movies will be screened during the festival, namely The Crypt/Cripta directed by Corneliu Gheorghita, Why Me?/De Ce Eu? by Tudor Giurgiu, Child’s Pose/Pozitia Copilului by Calin Peter Netzer, Toto and His Sisters/Toto si Surorile Lui by Alexander Nanau, The Magic Mountain/Muntele Magic by Anca Damian, #Selfie by Cristina Iacob, and Aferim! by Radu Jude.
