Romanian OMV Petrom ups employees’ salaries by 7%
Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom increased the employees’ salaries on May 1 and has also announced bonuses, according to company sources, quoted by local Economica.net.
The seven percent increase will be applied to all employees with individual contracts of employment, according to the new collective labor contract concluded at the end of April and valid for 24 months. In addition, the company’s employees will receive a gross bonus of RON 1,500 this year (EUR 340).
The company will give special bonuses on Oil & Gas Worker Day celebrated on September 8. Thus employees with individual working contracts in force on September 1 will receive a bonus of RON 1,750 (EUR 396).
Starting with July 1, the gross minimum wage at OMV Petrom will be of RON 900 (over EUR 200), higher than the minimum salary at a national level, according to Economica.net.
