OVES Enterprise, a software development company based in Romania at Cluj-Napoca, opened its second US office in Washington, DC.

The estimated investment is EUR 250,000 and includes expenses with local documents and taxes, as well as the rent of the space for the first year, Bursa.ro reported.

OVES Enterprise established a presence in the US at the end of last year when it opened its Silicon Valley office, thus marking its entry to the American continent. The Cluj-Napoca-based company has offices in Europe (Romania, UK and Germany), the Middle East (Dubai) and the US.

The company says that the office in Washington DC will accelerate its expansion into the defence industry, which is among its priorities.

"In the US we already have large-scale projects, with a high degree of complexity and innovation, in Defense, together with Healthcare, Data, Fintech and eCommerce, and we are able to capitalize on opportunities in Aeronautics and Green Energy, other star areas in this region of the globe", said Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise.
