Romanian Parliament endorses Constantin Buzoianu as President of Insurance Supervisory Commission
The Romanian Parliament has recently endorsed Constantin Buzoianu as new President of Insurance Supervisory Commission (CSA), after Romeo Ionut Comaniciu, who had been previously approved for this post last week, has withdrawn his candidacy. Constantin Buzoianu's candidacy was endorsed by 23 votes for and one vote against.
The Parliament also endorsed Cornel Coca Constantinescu and Tudor Balta as vice-presidents and Doru Claudian Frunzulica as a member. The new CSA management will control a market estimated at around EUR 2 billion.
Constantin Buzoianu graduated the Faculty of Industry Economics at ASE Bucharest, and held several positions like Omniasig's President advisor, Director General of the General Directorate of Passports, Border Police, or Director of Constanta County Police Inspectorate
