Romania's MPs will cast their vote on the 2014 budget on Wednesday (December 4), after the Parliament adopted on Tuesday all the 52 articles of the draft budget, all within an hour. This came after two hours of debates, but the discussions lasted until late in the evening.

Some MPs even wanted to organize the vote after 19,00 hours, but it was delayed until Wednesday starting 11,00.

The state budget project has set revenues of some EUR 22.4 billion for 2014, and expenses of some EUR 26.5 billion, leading to a deficit of around EUR 4.1 billion.
