Romanian pavilion at World Expo, visited by 2 million people
More than two million people visited Romania's pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai, which was opened three months ago.
Romania's pavilion, called Greenopolis, already hosted 1,800 artistic shows there, seven economic forums and other events meant to promote Romanian – Chinese relations, such as the Romanian Wine Week, the Romanian Fashion Week. It was there where Romania launched its new tourism brand, under the slogan 'Explore the Carpathian Garden' last week.
The visitor number 2 million at Romania's pavilion, Han Liang, has won voucher for a holiday to Romania, together with his family.
Expo 2010 has 400,000 visitors a day, on an average. So far, 35 million people visited the exhibition. As many as 70 million people are expected to visit the exhibition, which features [pavilion of all countries in the world. More about the World Expo here.
