Romanian photojournalist gets first prize at international artistic photo competition
Romanian photographer Tudor Vintiloiu has won an international artistic photo contest with a picture of a flock of birds near the coast. The Romanian took the first prize of the PreFoto competition in Presevo, Serbia, outpacing competitors from 16 other countries. His picture, Early Birds, impressed the jury of this years' edition, which is also the third.
The second prize winner was Fahredin Spahija with a picture called "My uncle", and the third prize went to Eden Temal from Albania for the picture "Eyes communicators". A special award was given to Humolli Arton for the picture "My Eagle". The contest also included an exhibition of the 46 pictures submitted, which were showcased at the House of Culture "Abdullah Krashnica" in Presev.
Tudor Vintiloiu is a 31 year old Romanian freelance photojuornalist, who worked with media companies such as Cotidianul, Esquire Romania, Intact Images and Income Magazine Romania, among others. He specializes in documentary and travel photography, and his personal website features stories from Ecuador, Ethiopia, Cambodia and other countries.
